Abstarct: In this experimental research, we have investigated the morphology, structural, optical, and electrochromic properties of titanium oxide (TiO2) and nickel oxide (NiO) mextal oxide nanostructures grown in different conditions by spray pyrolysis method. In this study, we used different devices for physical characterization of the grown samples. These devices include: field emission scanning electron microscope (FESEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD), Raman spectroscopy, UV-Vis-NIR spectroscopy and electrochemical measurement including cyclic voltammetry and chronoamperometry. In the fourth chapter, we investigate the synthesized titanium laxyers using titanium isopropoxide (C12H28O4Ti) on glass and FTO substrates. The effect of substrate, volume of spray solution, annealing time of the samples in the presence of air and lithium impurity on the electrochromic properties was investigated and the highest color efficiency (91 C1cm2) corresponds to sample with volume of 30 ml wich was annealed in time of 3 hours. In the fifth chapter, the physical and electrochemical properties of nickel oxide laxyers prepared from nickel chloride precursor (NiCl2) on glass and FTO substrates were investigated. The studied parameters in NiO thin films are the effect of precursor material, the effect of precursor concentration, the effect of volume of solution, the spray rate, and the effect of lithium impurity in the NiO lattic, among which the highest color efficiency (49 C-1cm2) is related to the sample with Lithium impurity 0.05 M.
